About Us |
|
Founded in 1987, Hope House Rescue Mission (HHRM) is a 501(C)(3) faith-based ministry, serving homeless men, women and families in Butler, Warren, and surrounding counties in Southwest Ohio. Much more than an emergency shelter, HHRM provides comprehensive programs and services designed to promote long-term, sustainable life transformation.
Due to the extensive and thorough treatment clients receive here at HHRM, our recidivism (repeat client) rate has dropped 61% over the last five years.
In 2011:
-
26% of clients in the shelter for more than 10 days became employed.
-
44% of residents moved into permanent housing.
-
There have been 21 residents who pursued and received their GED, representing a 420% increase over 2010.

| We Have a Mission ... |
Hope House Rescue Mission strives to eliminate homelessness in our community. We provide physical, emotional, mental and spiritual resources, regardless of race, religion, or social status. |
| And a Purpose ... |
| HHRM is committed to empowering individuals and families to not only achieve, but to sustain independence and self-sufficiency. Participation in Butler County's Wrap Around Program aids clients in meeting that goal. HHRM networks with other agencies and support networks to provide individual, comprehensive, community services and support. Together, all team members work to improve, strengthen, and stabilize family functioning and child well-being. |
