The Center of Hope (COH)
for Women & Children ... |
accommodates 50 women and their children. More than a roof over their head, it is a place that provides a much needed sense of safety and security. COH is one of the few local shelters to welcome children. Poverty and housing instability are especially harmful during early childhood, often causing problems in school ... if the child even makes it to school. To combat these problems, children at COH are provided tutors, mentors and transportation.

|

With the Center of Hope for Women and Children (COH) opening last November, 2011 served as an opportunity to assist more people. Due to the increased amount of services and holistic approach taken, COH is much more than a shelter. Case managers uncover difficult root problems and provide lofty goal setting, making it difficult for women not to succeed.
